COGCA has formed a strategic partnership with NYPD, Catholic Charities Brooklyn Queens, and Rockaway Development Revitalization Corporation to enable at-risk minority Youth Interns aged 16 – 21, to be paid while being supervised by Police Officers from the 101st Precinct; giving exposure to recreational games (basketball/volleyball), roller skating, role plays, and life altering workshops to create positive relationships with the youth and Law Enforcement. This innovative collaboration began in the Fall of 2020, with support and sponsorship from the Queens District Attorney's Office since the Summer of 2021.
